Koraput: A homeopathy doctor was today arrested in the town for selling opioids without a valid prescription.
As per sources, Koraput police after getting reliable information about the illegal sale raided the clinic owned by Prasanna Kumar Mohapatra near the bus stand and seized 10 bottles of medicine that are being used for intoxication.

Police said that the seized medicines can only be sold through valid prescriptions. The doctor, however, failed to produce any prescriptions for the illegal sale.
Koraput Town Police have registered a case in this connection and arrested the physician. More investigation is going on, said the IIC.
