Cuttack: A doctor was held in Cuttack district of Odisha on Saturday on the charges of polygamy. He had allegedly married 3 women. Mahila Thana Police nabbed him when he was attending patients at a private hospital in Pahala area of the district.
The accused doctor has been identified as Ashish Kumar Pattnayak. He is working in SCB Medical College and Hospital in the Plastic Surgery Department.
As per reports, the third wife of the doctor had lodged a complaint against the doctor at the Mahila Thana. On the basis of the complaint, Mahila Thana Police started investigation and later arrested the doctor.
Interrogation of the doctor is underway.
