Balangir: Vigilance officials arrested Balangir Civil Supplies Officer (CSO) Ranjan Seth on charges of accumulating disproportionate assets here today.
A team of officials raided Seth’s government quarter in the city early this morning and took him into custody.
The arrest was made in connection to a seizure of Disproportionate Assets (DA) to the tune of Rs 26.57 lakh on August 5, this year.
The DA was seized during a simultaneous raid at five places including Seth’s apartment in Bhubaneswar, in-law’s house in Bargarh and government quarters at Balangir.
