Balasore: The Vigilance sleuths conducted a raid and arrested the district civil supplies officer of Balasore on charges of accumulating disproportionate assets in his name.
The arrested has been identified as Mir Raja Ali
Acting on a tip-off, the Balasore vigilance division officials raided his office and seized Rs 2,34,900 from his possession yesterday. He took bribe from a miller.
Later, the police arrested him and was court-forwarded.
