Cuttack: The national flag was flying the whole night after the Republic day flag hoisting ceremony in Salepur block of Cuttack district in Odisha. The incident took place at Lekhanpur Government Primary School in Salepur block.
The flag was flying on the school playground till today 10 am in the morning.
Later, the locals informed the police about the disrespectful incident. They immediately reached the spot and lowered down the flag.
On being informed, the Salepur Additional Block Officer (ABO) and the block chairperson reached at the school ground and criticised the incident. Strict actions will be taken against the teachers who were in charge of the ceremony.
