Dharmendra Pradhan reviews flood situation in Odisha’s Balangir

Balangir: Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reviewed the situation in flood-affected areas of Balangir district in Odisha on Saturday.

The Minister, accompanied with Balangir MP Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo and Kalahandi MP Basant Panda and several BJP activists, visited  Laxmizor Dam at Barpalipada in the district.

The Union Minister interacted with the locals, who were affected by the recent floods, hearing their grievances and suggestions for relief works and speedy restoration in the area.

Pradhan also held a meeting with several senior district officials and stakeholders here regarding the status of ongoing relief and restoration work in the flood-affected areas.

Earlier, the Minister conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected Bolangir, Kalahandi, Boudh, Sonepur districts in the state.
