Puri: Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan attended the Bahuda Jatra and sought the blessings of Lord Jagannath and his siblings on Monday.
Despite the bad weather, Pradhan went to the Pilgrim Town and took part in the Bahuda Jatra of the Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra and prayed for the well being of Odisha, India and the whole mankind.
Heavy security was placed in order to avoid any untoward incident during the Minister’s visit.
Lakhs of devotees are expected to witness the Suna Bhesha of the Trinity, which is also known as Raja or Rajadhiraja bhesha or Raja Bhesha, tomorrow.
