Dharmendra invites Naveen to Dhamra LNT Terminal Bhoomi PoojanBhubaneswar: Union P&NG Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has officially invited Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik to attend the ground breaking ceremony or bhoomi poojan event of the upcoming LNG Terminal in Dhamra on July 8.

The Oil Minister requested Naveen to grace the occasion with his presence, as it would be a historic event for the State, which would benefit Odisha and other Eastern States of India.

The LNG Terminal in Dhamra will have Rs 10,500 crore investment. While Rs 6,000 crore is being spent on the construction of the terminal, another Rs 4,500 crore will be spent on gas pipeline and urban gas distribution. The project is aimed at building 2,539 km of gas pipeline.

The Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) will have a stake of 39% and GAIL 11% equity in Dhamra LNG Terminal Pvt Ltd. The remaining 50% equity will be with Adani Group.
