Puri: Great relief for Jagannath devotees, from today Covid negative certificate is no longer required to visit the famous temple in Odisha.

This means that the Covid test is not mandatory for devotees who want to enter the Srimandir. So everyone visiting the temple will be screened and allowed to enter the temple premises.

“Devotees will not be required to submit Covid negative report to enter Srimandir from January 21. They can have darshan  of the deities from 7 am and 30,000 devotees will be allowed to enter the temple every day. A separate queue will be made for senior citizens,” said the SJTA Chief.

Touching any idol inside Sri Mandir is strictly prohibited.

All the devotees will enter through the barricade from Marcchikot Square and are required to sanitize their hands and enter the temple.
