Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: With no respite in sight from cold for denizens in the Twin City Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, dense fog threw life out of gear in most parts here in the morning today.
In major points of the capital city Bhubaneswar including Master Canteen Square, AG Square, Vani Vihar and Jaydev Vihar commuters had a tough time due to poor visibility starting from the early morning.
Schools students and office goers could not be able reach their place on time due to traffic chaos on the road. Similarly, private transportation system was available in less quantity due to the prevailing situation posing more difficulties to those who depend on it.
While people preferred to remain inside their houses, shops and make shift eateries faced less business in both the cities due to the fog.
Meanwhile, the IMD Regional Centre located at Bhubaneswar had predicted that the fog situation will continue for the next couple of days and the temperature will further dip in next 24 hours.
