Bhubaneswar: Normal life was badly hit in state capital Bhubaneswar for second consecutive day today due to dense fog engulfing the entire city starting from the morning.
Vehicular traffic on the roads in the busy streets of the city reduced significantly starting from the early morning as the visibility came to almost zero level from a distance of 100 feet. Due to less availability of the public transport system commuters faced a tough time to reach their offices and were compelled to reach office late.
While the Regional Meteorological Centre here has informed that the foggy situation will continue till 11 am it also predicted that such a condition of the climate may continue for two to three days.
Notably, yesterday the Twin City Cuttack-Bhubaneswar was covered by dense fog throwing life out of gear completely in the morning. In major points of the capital city Bhubaneswar including Master Canteen Square, AG Square, Vani Vihar and Jaydev Vihar commuters had a tough time due to poor visibility.
