Bhubaneswar: The family members of senior photojournalist Ashok Panda, who died earlier this morning in a road accident, donated his eyes on Friday.
Panda’s wife donated his eye while fighting the pain and sorrow following his sad demise in a road mishap today. She donated Panda’s eyes after the postmortem of his body at the Capital Hospital.
The photojournalist reportedly collided with an unknown vehicle near Satasankha while he was on his way to Puri to collect news on Rath Yatra. He was rushed to Capital Hospital immediately. However, the doctor declared him as brought dead. He is survived by his wife and 10-year-old daughter.
