Balasore: There has been an agitation over the death of a patient in Balasore District Headquarter Hospital (DHH) on Wednesday. The death allegedly took place due to medical negligence.

According to reports, there was a marked agitation in the medicine ward of Balasore DHH. It is alleged that the patient died due to the negligence of the doctor.

The deceased has been identified as Tarulata Das of Alalbindha village of Bhograi police limits. The patient was admitted to the DHH on Tuesday evening due to low Blood Pressure (BP) and acidity.

His family however has complained that he died due to the absence of any doctor for treatment from 7 pm to 11 am on Wednesday. There is still tension and agitation in the campus of the DHH.
