Bhubaneswar: In an interesting incident, a woman from the Mancheswar area in Bhubaneswar, has hired a ‘Supari Killer’ to murder her husband.
Reportedly, a deal worth Rs 80,000 was fixed between the woman and the supari killer. However, all the conspiracies were foiled as the mastermind was arrested by the police. The mastermind behind the whole conspiracy is the couple’s driver.
The husband, identified as Binayak Behera, has been working as a railway electrical engineer and he was transferred to Puri. Following this, his wife fell in love with their driver Ashok Kumar Sahu.
Hence, the woman and her lover planned to conspire against Behera to kill him and hired a contract killer. Earlier on April 16, Ashok had attacked Behera with an iron pipe and rod.
Thereafter, Behera filed a complaint with the local police. The cops initiated an investigation based on the CCTV footage and arrested the driver Ashok Kumar Sahu.
Notably, Behera’s wife and the contract killer have absconded. A manhunt has been initiated to apprehend them.
