Balasore: The body of a bear has been recovered in Gujudiha area under Nilagiri Forest Department in Balasore district of Odisha.
According to the reports, the locals spotted the dead bear in middle of the farming land and immediately reported it to the Forest Department.
On being informed the Nilagiri ranger Manwar Khan arrived at the spot along with the veterinary doctor and initiated an investigation into the matter by sending the body for post mortem.
It is suspected that the bear has been beaten to death. However, the cause of the death is yet to be ascertained.
