Darshan Of Budhi Thakurani In Ganjam Prohibited As 2 Priests Test Covid Positive

Ganjam: The district administration has prohibited the darshan for devotees during Budhi Thakurani Jatra in Ganjam after two priests of the temple have been tested positive for Covid-19.

The administration has sealed the route from Buddhi Thakurani temple to the Desibehera Sahi.

Public gathering has also been restricted in front of the temple and strict action shall be taken against the people in case of any violation.

A total of 4,400 Covid-19 positive cases have been detected in the Berhampur Municipality area whereas  the number of active cases stands at 751 in the town.
