Dabugaon MLA Manohar Randhari acquitted in corruption case

Koraput: In a big relief for Dabugaon MLA Manohar Randhari, the Jeypore Special Vigilance Court acquitted him in a corruption case on Friday.

The Jeypore Special Vigilance Court reportedly acquitted Manohar Randhari due to insufficient evidence against him in the alleged misappropriation of government funds to the tune of Rs 5,40,052 in 2004-2009.

It is to be noted here that Randhari was working as a clerk at the Nandahandi Panchayat Samiti in the Nabarangpur district. He was in charge of the godown of Food For Work Awaas Yojana between 2004 and 2009.

Former Kodinga MLA Sadan Nayak in 2013 leveled allegations of embezzlement of building materials and rice against Manohar Randhari and filed a case.

While conducting a hearing of the case, the Jeypore Special Vigilance Court acquitted the Dabugaon MLA today.
