Jajpur: The Vigilance sleuths today conducted raids at Dharmasala sub-register office junior clerk Ratnakar Mohanty’s residence in Jajpur based on the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The Vigilance officials also conducted simultaneous raids at seven places, including his parental house at Chahata village under Dharmasala police limits, his single-storied building at Barajunagar near Jaraka under Dharmasala police limits, Hotel Akash of the clerk at Jalasukha, Jaraka, market complex and building at Shanti Bazar under Dharmasala police limits, house of his relative at village Chandapur under Dharmasala police limits, and his office room in the office of Sub-Registrar, Dharmasala.
As per reports, the officials seized Rs 8 lakh cash, gold, silver and some important documents from his house at Chahata village in Jajpur district,informed Vigilance DSP Surendranath Ray Guru.
