Cyclonic circulation forms over south-east Bay of Bengal, Another low pressure expected

Bhubaneswar: A cyclonic circulation has formed over south-east Bay of Bengal due to which another low pressure is very likely to form over Andaman sea tomorrow on November 13.

According to reports, it will gradually intensify as it moves west-northwest. The predicted low pressure will develop into depression on November 14 and will further intensify into a deep depression by November 16.

It will move northwest and will make the landfall coast of Andhra Pradesh on November 16. Due to this low pressure, there will be a change in the weather in Odisha from November 17. It has been predicted that the weather will be cloudy till November 20.

On the other hand, the minimum temperature is expected to rise again by 3-4 degrees Celsius, informed regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar. The weather department also added that the coastal and interior south areas including Bhubaneswar will receive light to moderate rainfall on the November 16 and November 19.

In northern Odisha, the weather will be mild with light spells of rain from the November 14 to November 20.

It is pertinent to mention that the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar has predicted two low pressure areas to form over Bay of Bengal in the month of November. Due to this, Odisha is likely to receive rain during the second and third week of this month.
