Cyclone Titli: Odisha Congress opens ‘Emergency Help Cell’ for 7 days

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) on Wednesday opened a 7-day long 24-hour Emergency Help Cell starting from today in view of the Cyclone Titli.

According to a release issued by OPCC president Niranjan Patnaik, a 24-hour Emergency Help Cell will start functioning for a week from the evening of October 10 till October 16 in view of the approaching cyclonic storm.

“The Help Cell will be under the charge of the PCC general secretary Janaki Ballav Patnaik as the convener, PCC secretaries Padmakar Guru and Rasik Patnaik and other leaders Rabindra Acharya, Alekh Samal, Manas Acharya and Lingaraj Sahu as co-conveners,” the release said.

It also added that the people in the affected areas can contact the convener and the co-conveners on the mobile numbers (7609852131, 8895203001, 9861011962, 7008799364, 9348161633, 8847858020, 9937948868 and 9237010939) and inform them about their grievances and suggestions.

The OPCC president said that the party will continue to support the people as per their grievance and suggestions in connection to the approaching cyclonic storm in the state.
