Bhubaneswar: Rain and thunder showers with one or two intense or heavy spells of rain has been predicted by the Regional MeT Department situated here in Bhubaneswar.
As many as six (6) districts are likely to affected in Odisha namely:
GANJAM, PURI, KHORDA, JAGATSINGHPUR, KENDRAPARA, CUTTACK
The list also includes the twin cities of BHUBANESWAR and CUTTACK
This warning has been issued for the next three hours. An Orange alert has been sounded by the weather department.
The Department has further warned about:
- Water logging in low lying area.
- Occasionally poor visibility and traffic disruption in urban areas is likely.
- Avoid movement in affected areas.
- Arrangement for drainage of excess water might be required.
