Cyclone Fani wreaks havoc across Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Severe cyclonic storm Fani made landfall at Puri at about 10.03 am and its effects were visible in the capital city of Bhubaneswar.

While the wind speed was clocked at 120 kmph, the tropical storm went on to uproot several trees and deracinate electric poles and wires.

Meanwhile, the Odisha government and Regional Meteorological department had issued an advisory for masses to remain indoors and preferably in safer locations to prevent any kind of damage.

The roads of Bhubaneswar wore a deserted look with large uprooted trees on them due to Fani.
