Bhubaneswar: Tropical cyclone Fani prepares to make landfall at Puri coast in Odisha with wind speed clocking at 170-175 kmph, official sources informed.
The process began at about 8 am. Part of the eye of the severe cyclonic storm Fani touched land at about 8.30 am. The entire process of making landfall is expected to take about 2 hours.
It is most likely to cross Odisha coast between Gopalpur and Chandbali, close to Puri from 8 am to 11 am, informed IMD.
