Cuttack: A security personnel from the Railway Protection Force (RPF) earned applaud from all sections of people on Wednesday as he saved the life of a man who slipped and consequently fell from the moving train at the Railway platform in Cuttack of Odisha.
The RPF jawan who rescued the man from falling from the moving train has been identified as Safid Khan.
The whole incident has been caged in a CCTV installed at the Railway Station. The incident took place today when the Purusottam Express was entering the platform number 4 of Cuttack Railway Station.
The passenger who fell from the moving train was travelling from Bihar to Cuttack. Before the train stops he was trying to get down when his legs slipped and he lost balance. Accordingly, he was being pulled towards the wheels of the train when the alert RPF personnel ran to the spot and pulled him out.
