Cuttack: COVID Vaccination To Begin From May 10 At Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium  

Cuttack: Vaccination for the beneficiaries due for the second dose of Covishield in Cuttack City will begin from May 10. The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) has already made elaborate arrangements in this regard.

The CMC has declared the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium as COVID-19 vaccination center for the smooth management of the vaccination.

According to CMC, vaccination will begin from May 10. It will start at 9 AM every day.

For smooth management of vaccination the following arrangements are made:

• Sumita Sarkar, Joint Commissioner, CMC will be In-Charge of the session site.
• Latashree Bag, Deputy Commissioner, CMC will ensure all logistics (1EC. Drinking facility and Token) and also do necessary coordination with all line departments. She will also depute 2 nos. of DEOs and 1 no. MIS Official to support in data management.
• Sanjibeeta Ray. Deputy Commissioner, CMC will ensure deployment of volunteers for crowd management inside the premises.
• The Mobile Health Team under NUHM is attached to the session site for management of anaphylaxis and other complication resulting from vaccination during observation.
• 8 nos. of vaccinators & 2 nos. of DEOs will be positioned at the session site by O/O CDM &PHO. Cuttack.
• City Health Officer will be 1/C for supply of bins, biomedical bags & disinfection of the premises. .
• Vaccine & Logistic for vaccination are to be ensured by DVLM.
• CPMU will arrange sound system for announcement of COVID appropriate behaviour and any necessary message.
• Medical Officer I/C. Manjulata will deploy Subodh Ranjan Roy to act as verifier.
