Cuttack city sees 117 new Covid-19 cases, Active cases stand at 1743
Cuttack: As many as 117 persons have tested positive for Covid-19 in Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) area of Odisha in the last 24 hours, said the CMC in a tweet on Tuesday.
Of the fresh Covid-19 positive cases in the city, as many as 32 cases have been reported from institutional quarantine, while 22 cases have been detected from home quarantine and 63 are local contact cases, according to the latest update by the CMC.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the the city has increased to 12,934, out of which 11,135 persons have recovered from Covid-19. As many as 56 persons of the city have succumbed to the virus, so far.
Presently, the active cases in the city stands at 1,743, said the civic body.
“Another 241 recoveries (5 October data) have been reported recently! KUDOS to all doctors & healthcare staff,” the CMC tweeted.
