Nuapada: In a tragic incident, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan allegedly shot himself dead under Komana police limits of Nuapada district.
According to reports, the jawan shot himself with his service riffle in the CRPF camp at Barkot area under Komana police limits today morning.
He died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Ram Prasad, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
Being informed, police arrived at the spot and recovered the body.
Further investigation in this regard is underway to ascertain the reason behind this incident.
