Sambalpur: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan allegedly committed suicide at the Jujumara camp in Odisha’s Sambalpur district on Tuesday.
The deceased jawan has been identified as Buta Singh. He hailed from Punjab.
According to reports, Singh was found in critical condition inside the camp with bullet injury on his head. He was rushed to Sambalpur hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police said the reason behind his death was yet to be ascertained, but as per primary investigation, it might be a case of suicide. The investigation is still on, police added.
