Kendrapara: Locals were left in a state of panic in Garajanga village under Marshaghai police limits in the district this morning after a critically wounded man with multiple stab injuries was found from a roadside.
The victim has been identified as Raj Kishore Mahali, aged around 40 of Marshaghai area.
The incident came to fore after some residents in the village who were out on some works came across the victim and reported Marshaghai Police.
After police reached the spot and conducted preliminary investigation, grievous stab injuries very likely to be caused by sharp weapon attack was found on the neck and lower abdomen part of the victim. His intestine was also seen gouged out in the attack.
The victim was first rushed to Kendrapara DHH and later shifted to SCB Medical for treatment where his condition is stated to be critical.
Police have started an investigation into the incident.
