Nuapada: In a tragic mishap, two persons were injured in a crane and motorcycle collision in Nuapada district of Odisha on Thursday.
The incident took place near Khariar Boden Tahasil block of the district.
The bikers have been identified as Romanthal Sahoo and Kanha Sahoo.
As per reports, Romanthal and Kanha, travelling in a splender bike were crossing Khariar when a crane hit the two-wheeler from the opposite side of the road. The two were crushed under the crane wheels for an hour.
Following the accident, some locals immediately informed Khariar police officials and the fire brigade team.
After being informed, the police and the firefighters reached the spot and rescued both Romanthal and Kanha with the help of locals.
The two bikers were then admitted to Mission Hospital, Khariar for treatment.
