CPET-2022: Odisha Common PG Entrance Test schedule released, Check details

Bhubaneswar: Government of Odisha, Higher Education Department has released the dateline for the Common PG Entrance Test – 2022 (CPET – 2022) and P.G. online admission in the Odisha State Public Universities and Colleges with PG Courses under Student Academic Management System (SAMS) for the session 2022-23. It will be available in www.samsodisha.gov.in. The Common Prospectus (CP) for CPET-2022 will be available in the said website.

Here is the detail information:

Availability of Online Application Common Application Form (CAF) in the website samsodisha.gov.in: June 27, 2022
Last date of applying online CAF through samsodisha.gov.in: July 12, 2022
Opening of Correction window for editing the CAF, which is already submitted before (No fresh CAf will be entertained): July 13, 2022 – July 14, 2022
Availability of Hall Ticket in existing student login (applicant e-Space) for downloading : July 20, 2022 till 2:00 PM.
Commencement of Entrance Examination (CPET – 2022): Aug 1, 2022 – Aug 13, 2022 (Except 7^th, 9^th and 11^th Aug)
Handing over of the entrance marks to OCAC by the Entrance Exam conducting Universities : Aug 22, 2022
Updation of Graduation/ Equivalent marks by applicants: Aug 12, 2022 till 5:00 pm of Aug 20, 2022.
Publication of subject-wise and state wide merit list : Aug 25, 2022 (2: PM)
Choice fitting by eligible applicants: Aug 25, 2022 to Aug 30, 2022
Provisional Allotment of Seats (First Round): Sept 05, 2022 (4:00 PM)
Reporting at allotted institutions, admission and data updation in the university /college e- Space(first round) : Sept 06, 2022 & Sept Sept 07, 2022 (5:00 PM)
Data updation in the e-Space of the students, admitted from the Second Round Merit List by the respective institutions : Sept 16,2022 (5.00 PM)
Publication of provisional Vacant Seats in SAMS Website: Sept 20, 2022
Publication of Spot Merit List : Sept 23, 2022
Reporting of the candidates for Spot selection at the institute: Sept 24, 2022 to Sept 26, 2022 (5:00PM)
Updation of the selected candidate’s name by the institutions, out of the reported candidates for the Spot selection: Sept 27, 2022 (5:00PM)
Publication of Final selected Spot Merit List for admission: Sept 28, 2022 (12:00 Noon)
Admission and Data updation of the candidates, reported from the Spot Merit List: Sept 29, 2022 & Sept 30, 2022
Collection of Admission Fees at the respective HEls (After completion of e-Admission Process for the Session 2022-23): Dates witl be notified by the Higher Education Department later

For filling up of the vacant seats, Guidelines will be issued later on by the Higher Education Department.

Candidates, whose final U.G. results are awaited (not published), can also apply online in the Common Application Form (CAF) to appear CPET-2022. But, they must upload their marks prior to preparation of “subject wise and state wide provisional rank” within the dateline, failing which, their applications will not be considered.
