COVID19 Cases Rise To 6859 In Odisha, 245 Positives Today

Bhubaneswar: The Information and Public Relations Department (I&PR Dept.) government of Odisha declared that today (Monday) 245 positive cases of coronavirus have been detected in Odisha.

There are a total of 6859 COVID19 cases in Odisha till date.

Of the 245 new positive cases 214 were reported from the quarantine centers while the rest 31 cases are due to local contacts. The new COVID19 cases have been detected from 19 districts.

According to the information 2 NDRF/ ODRAF personnel who have returned from Amphan duty (West Bengal) have been tested positive.

5. Dhenkanal: 3

6. Gajapati: 7

7. Ganjam: 96

8. Jagatsinghpur: 9

9. Jajpur: 40

10. Jharsuguda: 1

11. Kendrapada: 8

12. Keonjhar: 7

13. Khordha: 28

14. Mayurbhanj: 5

15. Nawarangpur: 7

16. Nayagarh: 3

17. Rayagada: 1

18. Sonepur: 1

19. Sundaragarh: 6

20. NDRF/ ODRAF: 02 (returned from Amphan duty, WB)

The statistics for Odisha is as follows:

New recoveries: 137

Cumulative tested: 260428

Positive: 6859

Recovered: 4743

Active Cases: 2086
