Covid Vaccination To Remain Suspended In 12 Districts Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar:  The Covid vaccination drive shall be suspended in 12 districts of Odisha today due to the shortage of vaccines.

The districts are as follows: Balasore, Bhadrak, Boudh, Cuttack, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Khordha, Koraput, Mayurbhanj and Puri districts.

However, the vaccination programme will continue in the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area.

It is noteworthy that, the third phase of vaccination drive will start from May 1 covering the age groups of 18-44 years.

Odisha government has however informed that the drive will not start from May 1 in the state due to the acute shortage of vaccines.
