Covid Update in Twin City: Bhubaneswar reports 88 covid positive cases, Cuttack reports 9 cases

Bhubaneswar: As on November 26, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reported 88 new positive cases of Covid-19. On the other hand, Cuttack city (CMC area) has reported 9 covid positive cases.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 88 positive cases detected today, 21 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 67. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 21.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 20,986 while the total recovered cases are 1, 18,502. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1085.  Active cases in the city are 1378.

Out of the total 9 cases registered in CMC on Friday, 6 cases are from home quarantine while 3 local contact cases were detected. There were no institutional quarantine cases today.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 45,170 while the recovered cases are 44,539. The active cases today are 540.

In the last 24 hours, Cuttack city has reported 7 recovered cases informed while in Bhubaneswar 67 recovered cases were registered.

A total of 219 Covid-19 positive cases including 32 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours.

Among the 219 positives, 131 are quarantine cases and 88 are local contacts.
