Bhadrak: The district administration has closed the Baba Akhandalamani Temple in Aradi village of Bhadrak district in Odisha due to the rise in Covid infections.
The district collector decided to close the temple from today. The temple shall remain closed until further notice.
Only the sevayats can enter the temple and perform the daily rituals added the district administration.
This step has been taken in order to curb the coronavirus infection from spreading among devotees and priests of the famous temple which draws thousands of devotees every year.
As many as 145 fresh Covid cases have been reported from Bhadrak today.
