Covid management, climatic change to be included in Class 10 syllabus for 2022-23 session: Odisha Minister

Bhubaneswar: Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Sunday informed that the State government has decided to include Covid-19 management and climatic change in the class 10 syllabus from 2022-23 academic session.

The   Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has made minor changes in life science. There were 10 subjects in life science. However, Covid-19 and its management have been included in the subject.

Likewise, some changes also have been made in the geography subject of the students. A topic regarding climatic change and its management has been added to the subject.

Some educationists have stated that the decision to include Covid management subject in the Class 10 syllabus will help the students to know more about the deadly virus and create awareness among their family members and relatives.
