Covid cases fall below 10 in Twin City of Odisha today  

Bhubaneswar: The Covid-19 cases in twin city of Odisha remain significantly low on March 3, 2022. Bhubaneswar registered 7 new Covid-19 cases today while Cuttack city (CMC area) recorded two positive cases today.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), out of the total 7 positive cases registered today, 1 case is from home quarantine while 1 local contact case was registered.

With today’s development the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,316. The recovered cases are 1,54,780. The total deceased cases are 1189. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 326.

As in Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC area) 1 case is reported from home quarantine as well as 1 home quarantine case was reported.

The total cases in CMC are 56,007 while the total recovered cases are 55,546. Total Active cases are 32 while total deaths are 429.

The recovered cases in BMC and CMC today are 21 and 6 respectively.

Odisha reported 138 fresh cases of Covid including 33 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Thursday. The positive tally stands at 12,85,487.

Reportedly, among the 138 positives, 78 patients are in quarantine, and 60 are the local contacts. There are as many as 1923 active cases in Odisha.
