Covid 19 Vaccination In Odisha: These Employees Shall Be Vaccinated As Frontline Workers

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government on Saturday decided to include persons engaged in providing the essential services of Electricity, Water Supply and Road Transport in the list of Frontline Workers and vaccinate them with Covid 19 vaccines.

The State Steering Committee meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra took the decision to consider these workers who provide essential services as Frontline Workers.

Meanwhile, letters have been issued to all the district Collectors, Municipal Commissioners, Chief District Medical Officer (CDMOs) and public health officers (PHOs) asking them to provide these workers the Covid 19.
