Covid-19 Update Twin city: Bhubaneswar reports 5 positive cases while Cuttack reports no case

Bhubaneswar: As on March 31, 2022 the Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar continues to remain low. The capital city of Odisha has recorded 5 positive cases today. On the other hand, no Covid positive case was registered today in Cuttack city (CMC).

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 5 positive cases that were reported today were local contact cases.

With today’s development the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,493. The recovered cases are 1,55,110. The total deceased cases are 1191. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 171. The recovered cases in BMC are 8.

In CMC, the total Covid-19 cases stand at 56,029 while the recovered cases are 55,577. The active cases are 23 while deaths are 429. 2 recovery cases were reported in CMC in last 24 hours.

Odisha reported 32 Covid cases including 10 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Thursday. The positive tally stands at 12,87,640.

Reportedly, among the 32 positives, 20 patients are in quarantine, and 12 are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 385.
