Covid-19 Update Twin City: Bhubaneswar reports 168 cases while Cuttack reports 27 cases on October 28

Bhubaneswar: As on October 28, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has registered 168 new covid-19 positive cases while the positive cases in Cuttack city (CMC area) are 27.

The recovered cases in Cuttack city are 31 while 256 persons have recovered from the disease in Bhubaneswar today.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 168 positive cases detected today, 43 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 125.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1,17,934 while the total recovered cases are 1,13,732. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1051. Active cases in the city are 3130.

Out of the total 27 cases registered in CMC on Thursday, 05 cases are from institutional quarantine, 14 cases from home quarantine and 08 local contact cases.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 44,756 while the recovered cases are 43,966. The active cases today are 699.

A total of 412 Covid-19 positive cases including 63 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 10,40,230, informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Thursday.

Among the 412 positives, there are 237 quarantine cases and 175 local contact cases. However, 334 patients recovered in the State taking the total number of 10,27,108.
