Covid 19 Update: Bhubaneswar reports 7 positive cases while Cuttack reports 17 cases today

Bhubaneswar: As on June 9, 2022 the Covid-19 cases in BMC and CMC has significantly increased significantly. The capital city of Odisha has recorded 7 positive cases today. On the other hand, Cuttack reported 17 positive cases.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 7 positive cases that were reported today were local contact cases.

With today’s development, the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,719. The recovered cases are 1,55,389. The total deceased cases are 1193. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 116. The recovered cases in BMC in the last 24 hours are 2.

Similarly, 17 new Covid19 cases were reported in the CMC area. 3 cases were local contact cases. The total cases in CMC are 56,076 while the recovered cases are 55,623. The active cases, while 14 cases were home quarantine cases. The total number of deaths is 429. The recovered cases in 24 hours are 2.

Odisha on Thursday reported 31 new Covid cases including two children, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,88,576.

Reportedly, among the 31 it is to be noted that 18 patients are in quarantine and 13 are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 127.
