Covid 19 Update: Bhubaneswar reports 131 positive cases while Cuttack reports 19 cases today

Bhubaneswar: As on July 4, 2022 the Covid-19 cases in BMC and CMC has significantly increased. The capital city of Odisha has recorded 131 positive cases today. On the other hand, Cuttack city reported 19 positive cases.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 131 positive cases that were reported today were local contact cases.

With today’s development, the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,57,705. The recovered cases are 1,56,038. The total deceased cases are 1193. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 453. The recovered cases in BMC in the last 24 hours are 95.

Similarly, 19 new Covid19 cases were reported in the CMC area. 10 cases were local contact cases while 9 cases were from home quarantine. The total cases in CMC have reached 56,291. The active cases are 157 while the total number of deaths is 429. The recovered cases in 24 hours are 11.

Odisha on Monday recorded a slight fall in daily Covid cases across different districts of the State in the last 24 hours.

According to the data shared by the Information & Public Relations Department, as many as 245 new positives were reported in 18 districts and the State Pool. A total of 346 persons were infected with the virus on Sunday.
