Covid-19 Update: Bhubaneswar and Cuttack record 113 and 18 positive cases respectively on November 1

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has registered 113 new covid-19 positive cases while Cuttack city (CMC area) recorded 18 cases on November 1.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 113 positive cases detected today, 29 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 84. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 29.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 18,479 while the total recovered cases are 1, 14,720. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1055.  Active cases in the city are 2683.

Out of the total 18 cases registered in CMC on Monday, 05 cases are from institutional quarantine, 08 cases are from home quarantine and 05 local contact cases.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 44,837 while the recovered cases are 44,090. The active cases today are 656.

Cuttack city has recorded 21 recovered cases informed CMC while in Bhubaneswar has 204 recovered cases were registered informed BMC today.

According to the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department, on Monday a total of 316 Covid-19 positive cases including 51 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected in Odisha in 24 hours. The total Covid-19 Odisha tally has  reached 10,41,773  .

Among the 316 positives, there are 186 quarantine cases and 130 local contact cases. However, 450 patients recovered in the State taking the total number of 10,29,147.

Hence, the number of active cases stands at 4,237.
