Covid-19 Update: 253 Covid patients recover in last 24 hours in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department of Odisha informed that another 253 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in the State and are being discharged from various facilities as of January 7.

The Health department informed about this development through its official Twitter handle.

According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries were in the Khordha district followed by Sundargarh and Cuttack districts.

The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 10,45,971.

The details of the recovery cases from different districts today are as follows:

90 from Khordha

58 from Sundargarh

17 from Cuttack

13 from Jharsuguda

6 from Balasore

6 from Deogarh

6 from Jajpur

6 from Mayurbhanj

6 from Sambalpur

4 from Jagatsinghpur

4 from Nuapada

3 from Ganjam

3 from Kendrapara

3 from Puri

2 from Bolangir

2 from Koraput

1 from Bhadrak

1 from Nabarangpur

1 from Sonepur

21 from State Pool

As many as 2703 Covid-19 positive cases including 926 from Khordha have been detected in the last 24 hours. The total cases include 409 in the 0-18 years age group have been found, informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Friday.

Among the 2703 positives, 1579 are quarantine cases and 1124 are local contacts. There are a total of 8237 active cases.
