Covid-19 Update: 204 Covid patients recover in last 24 hours in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department of Odisha informed that, another 204 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in the State and are being discharged from various facilities as on January 6.

The Health department informed about this development through its official twitter handle.

According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries were in Khordha district followed by Sambalpur and Cuttack districts.

The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 10,45,718.

The details of the recovery cases from different districts today are as follows:

88 from Khordha

23 from Sambalpur

13 from Cuttack

8 from Mayurbhanj

7 from Deogarh

6 from Balasore

6 from Puri

5 from Jajapur

5 from Sundargarh

4 from Angul

4 from Dhenkanal

3 from Bhadrak

3 from Nayagarh

2 from Ganjam

2 from Jagatsinghpur

2 from Kendrapara

1 from Kalahandi

1 from Nuapada

1 from Sonepur

20 from State Pool

As many as 1897 Covid-19 positive cases including 669 from Khordha have been detected in the last 24 hours.

The total cases include 258 in the 0-18 years age group have been found, informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Thursday.

Among the 1897 positives, 1106 are quarantine cases and 791 are local contacts. There are a total of 5739 active cases.
