Covid-19 Twin City Update: Bhubaneswar reports 1 positive case while Cuttack city reports 2 cases today

Bhubaneswar: Covid-19 cases in twin city of Odisha fell below 5 on March 14, 2022. Bhubaneswar has registered 1 Covid-19 case today while Cuttack city (CMC area) has recorded 2 covid cases today.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), a single positive case was registered today. It was local contact case.

With today’s development the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,400. The recovered cases are 1,54,932. The total deceased cases are 1191. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 256.

In Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC area) 1 institutional quarantine and 1 home quarantine case was reported.

The total cases in CMC are 56,022 while the total recovered cases are 55,564. Total Active cases are 29 while total deaths are 429.

The recovered cases in BMC and CMC today are 13 and 1 respectively.

Odisha reported below 100 Covid cases for the third consecutive day with 68 positives including 12 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Monday. The positive tally stands at 12,86,694.

Reportedly, among the 68 positives, 41 patients are in quarantine, and 27 are the local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 851.
