Covid-19 Surge: Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation Resumes Helpline Service

Bhubaneswar: As the Covid surge in the capital city, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC)  has activated a dedicated 1929 Helpline number.

The 1929 Bhubaneswar helpline, which was working 24 x 7 has been reintroduced with better response and consultation facilities.

The 24*7 helpline centre is a collaborative effort of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), BSCL and Bhubaneswar Development Authority and will handle all queries related to Covid-19, information service, counselling by trained psychologists and psychiatrists as well as medical and health advice and grievance redressal.

The State Capital has reported 1092 new cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the Covid-19 tally to 66,236. The Covid death toll also increased to 351 with four more fatality in this period.
