Ganjam: Amid rise in the Covid-19 cases in the state, Ganjam district administration on Friday imposed fresh restrictions in the district.
The Ganjam Collector via a tweet informed that the Gopalpur and Sunapur beaches will remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Similarly, Ramalingeshwar park and Tampra will be closed on Mondays. Meanwhile, Maa Taratarini temple will remain closed on every Wednesday.
Earlier, the district administration had prohibited the arrangement of feasts outside and in the nearby areas of the Tara Tarini temple and the ritual of tonsuring children’s heads has also been banned at the temple.
