Covid-19 Recovery Update: 386 Covid patients recover in last 24 hours
Bhubaneswar: The Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department of Odisha informed that, another 386 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in the State and are being discharged from various facilities as on January 9.
The H&FW department informed about this development through its official twitter handle.
According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries were in Cuttack district followed by Khordha and Sundargarh districts.
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 10,46,617.
The details of the recovery cases from different districts today are as follows:
109 from Cuttack
108 from Khordha
25 from Sundargarh
23 from Jharsuguda
15 from Sambalpur
12 from Balasore
11 from Angul
11 from Puri
9 from Mayurbhanj
8 from Dhenkanal
7 from Jagatsinghpur
7 from Nabarangpur
4 from Ganjam
3 from Nayagarh
2 from Bargarh
2 from Bhadrak
2 from Jajpur
2 from Kendrapara
26 from State Pool
As many as 4714 Covid-19 positive cases including 1619 from Khordha have been detected in the last 24 hours.
The total cases include 416 in the 0-18 years age group have been found, informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Sunday.
Among the 4714 positives, 2755 are quarantine cases and 1955 are local contacts. There are a total of 16,117 active cases. The positivity rate stands at 6.71%.
