Covid-19 Recovery: 209 Covid patients recover in last 24 hours in Odisha

 Bhubaneswar: The Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department of Odisha informed that, another 209 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in the State and are being discharged from various facilities as on December 31.

The Health department informed about this development through its official twitter handle.

According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries have been made in Khordha district followed by Sambalpur and Sundergarh districts.

The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 10,44,803.

The details of the recovery cases from different districts today are as follows:

96 from Khordha

20 from Sambalpur

11 from Sundargarh

10 from Rayagada

9 from Deogarh

8 from Cuttack

5 from Dhenkanal

4 from Balasore

4 from Nuapada

4 from Puri

3 from Gajapati

3 from Ganjam

3 from Jajpur

3 from Kendrapara

1 from Bargarh

1 from Jagatsinghpur

1 from Mayurbhanj

23 from State Pool

A total of 228 Covid-19 positive cases including 32 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours.

This has taken the tally of Covid to 10,54,834 informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Friday.

Among the 228 positives, 131 are quarantine cases and 97 are local contacts.
